About a visa

I'm going into arusha from nairobi in april.
I've read that you can obtain a visa for tanzania at the point of entry, is it true also for arusha, or only for airport entry?
On the timesonline site it says that if you get a kenya visa you can use it also for tanzania can anyone conferme this?
finally do I need a multi-entry visa for kenya or a single will suffice?
Sorry for the multiple question but the info I received are a confusing.

If you will be using a shuttle from Nairobi you will be requared to pay 25usd at the migration boarder at Namanga.If you happen to take a shuttle to Kia then the 25usd youi will pay at the Aitport.
Kenya charges 50usd per person very expensive comparedn to Tanzania.

We arrived in the lush surroundings of Arusha after a long drive from Nairobi. The Hotel Impala was welcoming and we were lookingh forward to setting off for Kilimanjaro the following day.
It is the looming peak of Meru which brings Arusha both its fertility, and its rainfall, and so the centre of an agricultural district. On one of our free days here we set off to the town centre to see the sights.
These include the fort like whitewashed Boma - now a museum, whose exhibits tell the story of the cruelty of the German settlers who once ruled (and the fact they were crap farmers)
