Moivaro Lodges and Tented Camp: Good place to rest near Lake Natron
This is a good place to rest and visit the beautiful surroundings: Lake Natron, savanna, flamingos, giraffes, wildlife.
They have space for tents ($ 15), fly tents ($25) and lodges ($ 40).
They have power generators with backup so that you can have electricity almost all day long.
There is fresh water in the lodges coming from the nearby sources; not good for drinking but suitable for showers).
There is also a bar and a restaurant, with great view on the lake's plain
Very peaceful place and comfortable.
The camp is located on Maasai land and shares the revenues with local people. Many of the workers are also Maasai.
Unique Quality: It's located in the real wildlife: giraffes, antelopes, camels and flamingos are around, and monkeys live inside the area. Very peaceful yet scenic place.

Lake Natron Camp
There's not much choice besides camping.
A protected campsite is situated just couple a km's from the Lake at the Ngare Sero river close to the falls.
This basic site is a community initiative run by local Maasai-tribespeople.
Take a cool bath in the river!
