The place to stay in Moshi!
The Osy Grand is a well situated hotel with comfortable rooms with the best shower I had in Tanzania: great water pressure and HOT!! There is a terrace in the restaurant on the first floor with interesting views of the busy and lively streets below. There is a wide choice of food in the restaurant but patience is required when ordering. Most staff speak english and are helpful giving information about Moshi town. The hotel has an in house tour company offering reasonably priced safaris to the Northern Circuit, Kili Climbs, Cultural Tours and Beach holidays which saves having to shop around. Try to book directly by email as you will save money and can possibly negotiate a good deal.
