Sunset Mountain camp: Above the african savanna
The camp is outside the Ruhaha national Park, 25 minutes drive till the gate, and that's the only bad word that I can say about the place. We arrived at late afternoon and welcomed by the smiling manager - Josef, and from this moment he and his staff help us in every request. The lodge and bandas located on a steep slope and you have to take a good breath before climbing to your room- it's good for health. The bedroom and toilets are convenience and there are hot water. The meals are served on a big verandah with a beautiful view of the savanna.

Mwagusi Safari Lodge
Mwagusi Safari Lodge, with its friendly and helpful staff and owner, Chris Fox, its African-style accommodation and its excellent meals, is a superb base from which to explore the park. It faces out onto a bend in a river, which was dry when we were there, and our bungalow or 'banda' had a large comfortable chair in front of it from which we could watch any wild life that happened to be running around in the river bed.
