Beautiful lodge for starting a serengeti safari
Typical very nice Serena lodge:
Good food, included in the price
Stunning grounds and views
All amenities provided, including wifi
Beautiful horizon pool
Turndown service with mosquito netting
The food here was in the middle of the Serena hotels we stayed at. In the middle of the serengeti, it is hard to protect all the food from bugs, and they didn't always succeed. That was our one complaint.
The most interesting part of the experience is that the lodge is open to the animals. So at night, you need to go out with a guard. And you can see some interesting wildlife on the actual hotel grounds
