The room was fairly large, but the light in there was not very good. There was just a small light in a recess by the wardrobe – where I hit my head several times on the overhanging cupboard! The view over the pool was nice, from a very small balcony.
We tried to change money in reception, but were told in no uncertain terms: You go to your first, change money later! So there! That told us! He would not change anything smaller than a 50 Euro note, no 20s or 10s. He would not change dollars either. Once a few of us had changed money, there was no change left for the rest.
There was a small souvenir shop inside the lobby and a large craft ‘market’ on the patio by the pool. Some nice carvings and things. There was a public phone in reception capable of making international calls.
