The stylish architecture is a mix of Moorish and Andalucian, and both the interior and grounds are very spacious. Our room overlooked the pool and sea and was really luxurious with a marble bathroom and beautiful quality bedlinen.
The hotel has 3 restaurants as well as the poolside bar, which serves meals.
The service is excellent in all areas - restaurants, poolside and beach.
June is a good time to go as it is not very busy and not too hot.
The hotel can organise sightseeing trips if you want to be active, or you can easily spend a few days relaxing and being pampered in the spa and by the pool or on the beach.
For me, the best feature is the outdoor swimming pool which is absolutely huge - easily the biggest pool I have ever been in. Although the hotel has its own private beach, the sea can be a bit cold, especially in the late afternoons so it is great to have the pool.
The Roman style thalassotherapy spa is very good, and it's a good idea to have a full body scrub as soon as you arrive to prepare your skin for the sun.
It is really nice to have a cocktail on the terrace in the early evening before dinner.
