The hotel has three restaurants:
'Movenpick' serving the buffet,
Neptune, with a very good menu (a la carte - international) and
a local restaurant, serving Tunesian food.

Youth Hostel Djerba looks great, it is undoubtely the most beautiful hostel I have seen so far. It used to be the caravanserai, nowadays turn into the hostel for youngs and those who feel young.
The hostel is situated right in the heart of the old core of the Houmt Souk, the administrative capital of the island. Besides, the hostel is only 10km far from the Mellita airport.

Hotel Petit Palais is a nice hotel, clean and friendly. It receives mainly package tours. Their restaurant is not outstanding but serves a nice food, half international, half local. My friends stayed at hotel Isis and a visited them twice during my visit on Djerba.
When you enter the hotel you get really warm expression. Lobby is very nice and there are beautiful mosaics on the walls. The pool is not as big as at the Sidi Mansour hotel.
The food at dinner is very good .Many sorts of

One of the oldest hotels in Djerba was the first one over the lagoon for years, which could be seen from a distance; today, it is no longer the “door” to the hotel zone, this position has now the Radisson SAS hotel.
The sobriety of its architecture, the sand colour of the buildings enhanced by the light of the setting sun, has been perfectly integrated in the environment.
However, the beach in front of the hotel is somewhat narrow, not so attractive for the tourists who prefer tanning on the beach instead of the swimming pool!
Well equipped Spa, numerous rooms for the various amenities going from seaweed wraps, a variety of massages and other hydrotherapy spa specialties. Otherwise a perfect operational sequence, everything absolutely professional.
It offers really only the best to all! Both for single travelers as well as for younger and older couples a dream. Even in winter owing to Thalasso offers a good destination. And the only hotel in the area with direct beach before the house. All newer hotels have only indirectly beach connection, many none at all.
This hotel can only recommend without any hesitations!

On previous travels, we camped in areas of Djerba that had not yet be reached by the building fever. There are now so many hotels along the coast that I feel it would not be possible any more to camp in the "wilderness" of Djerba ! Leave a Comment Theme: Campground

Since it was the last moment decision, hotel Haroun was the only available option I had for accomodation. Sincerely, I had no idea what kind of hotel it is therefore we hadn't any big expectations. The hotel is situated in the middle of the Zone Touristique and in a walking distance to the beach resorts. In fact, it has a part of the beach which is exclusevely reserved for Harou's guests.
Considering the way I've booked this accomodation, it wasn't bad at all. Haroun is three stars hotel which offers quite a lot facilities. The room is pretty big and air-conditioned with small yard in front which is convinient for late afternoon relaxing. The swimming pool is of midium size and very clean, perfect place for morning coffee. The restaurant is big, clean and offers good food. There is a kind of amphitheatre, in the middle of the hotel complex, where every night a different show was performed. The service in the hotel was above all of my expectations.
