Hotel Djerba Haroun is situated in the touristic area of the island, although not on the seashore it has own beach which is approx. 300 meters far from the hotel.
Likewise most of the hotels in Tunisia, the service is far from the European standards, especially in the restaurant. A couple of extra dinars, given to lady-cleaner from time to time, will secure satisfaying cleannes of your room. There is a nice and clean swimming pool in the central position of the hotel, massage, hair-cutting, souvenir shops and an large amusement hall for evening events.
Zone touristique

Since it was the last moment decision, hotel Haroun was the only available option I had for accomodation. Sincerely, I had no idea what kind of hotel it is therefore we hadn't any big expectations. The hotel is situated in the middle of the Zone Touristique and in a walking distance to the beach resorts. In fact, it has a part of the beach which is exclusevely reserved for Harou's guests. Considering the way I've booked this accomodation, it wasn't bad at all. Haroun is three stars hotel which offers quite a lot facilities. The room is pretty big and air-conditioned with small yard in front which is convinient for late afternoon relaxing. The swimming pool is of midium size and very clean, perfect place for morning coffee. The restaurant is big, clean and offers good food. There is a kind of amphitheatre, in the middle of the hotel complex, where every night a different show was performed. The service in the hotel was above all of my expectations. For the amount of money I paid, I was very satisfied.
