The rooms are quite large as is the bathroom. There is plenty of wardrobe space. There is a TV but no fridge, hairdryer or safe (safes are at reception). One point to note is there is only one socket in the bathroom and one in the room itself (which is where the TV was connected). There is air con for summer months and it doubles up as central heating for winter. It kept the room warm for me.
The cleaners seemed to be working all of the time in the hotel and that was obvious by its spotless appearance. My dirty towels were changed daily and the bedding was changed twice during my week's stay.
The restaurant had a reasonable variety of food for the low number of guests present and I always found something to eat. On an evening, the salads were excellent and although I am not usually a great dessert lover, there was even something to tempt me. The main course usually had at least one fish dish and something suitable for a vegetarian. Most of the staff were excellent.
The beach was kept spotlessly clean and there was someone forever raking the sand. There were picnic benches on the beach as well as sunbeds. I was pleased to see that ashtrays were provided for smokers which kept the beach cleaner.
The reception area was excellent. It is well maintained and decorated.
This gives you the proximity of the airport, but I had absolutely no problems with aircraft noise. It also means you have the advantage of a very quick transfer time from Monastir airport. The hotel is set back from a dual carriageway but again you didn't here the noise from it. Location wise you are between Monastir and Sousse. The local buses stop close to the hotel and the airport railway station is within a 5 minute walk.
The hotel offered very good value for money for me as I paid only £40 for a one week half board stay. At home I would have spent more than this just on fuel costs and food. I was impressed by the spotless appearance of all public areas and my room.
Unique Quality: I tested only the hamam and massage facilities in the hotel. It was a very refreshing experience and left me feeling much better. The masseur correctly identified a shoulder problem (from carrying a large handbag) and eased the problem. I would definitely recommend you give this a try.
The hotel has two lovely pools - indoor and outdoor but they were on the cold side for me when I was there in December.
Directions: Just across the road from Monastir airport
