hospitals & injections info plese
by pattea
hi - we are looking at booking a holiday at holiday village manar with first choice around 7km from hammamet. We have 2 children aged 4 & 5 & 2 elderly parents with medical conditions coming. Please can u help me on advising where /how far our nearest hospital would be for heart problems & what are the general response times to get from our hotel to the sed hospital.
Also what injections should we have?
kind regards Angela Patterson

I can't help with the hospital questions but anyone in good health does not require injections for a holiday in Tunisia.
Given, however, that your parents have medical condiditons they should probably check with their own doctor(s) before travelling.
Assuming that you'll be spending your time in and around Hammamet, then I wouldn't have any health worries about you or your children.
Travel Tips for Hammamet
Golf in Hammamet
by Erkmen
If you plan a trip to Hammamet why not make it a golf tour. While we stay in Hammamet there were many tourists coming there to play golf. We have seen so many golf bags and things that we spared some time to visit the golf course..
There are 2 Golf Courses in Hammamet adjacent to each other. Citrus golf Course and Jasmine golf Course. Courses are in between Hammamet city center and Hammamet south. Both courses has two paths, one with 18 holes in between forest and lakes and another for 9 course for less experienced ones.
Golf Course has an aggreement with some hotels, and their customers are getting a better price and these hotels, nearby has shuttles to the course, leaving in the morning and returning in the Afternoon. All kinds of Golf Equipment.:)..
Golf School and practise area is avalable..
Trip to Carthage
by smirnofforiginal
We hired a car with a driver to go to Carthage for the day which was a top moved because the sites are very spread out/sprawling; we were driven from one site to the next which in the unrelenting midday heat of the sun was a blessing (especially as we were travelling with small children.
Carthage was at one time the 3rd largest Roam city in the Empire and the ruins are rather impressive, especially the Thermes D'Antonin. Musee National de Carthage is worth a visit and will help you understand more about Carthage.
