Hi everyone,has anybody out there been to Hammamat and needed hospital treatment ?, we are planning to go in August and have a child with a medical condition so always like to know what the local healthcare is like.
Secondly any recommendations for sites of historical interest nearby without having to go on extra excersions which bump the price up.
Lastly, hotel Fourati... any really recent visits and if so what is is like this year.

in Hammamet there are many Hospiatls such as the private polyclinic which is only 5 mn away from Hotel fourati used by many tourist.
Hotel fourati is an old hotel but very nice and charming with a family atmosphere and next to the sea.
regarding trips during august I will recommend you to avoid group trips due to the heat however i recommend you to go on a private car to tunis carthage sidi bou said, where you will be able to visit
the medina of tunis
the bardo meuseum which use to be the ex palace of the turkish king and holdsthe largest collection of roman mosaic

capital of the gouvernat de Nabeul. most known for the camel fair, right at the center of the town, and the handycrafters fair wich i've seen and went on friday, the day of the week that it is held. if u apreciate shopping and all the fuss of a souk, this one, taking place,on the streets of nabeul u can not miss it. a wonderfull exprience and be ready to bargain, and bring back some souvenirs from Tunisa.
