I will have accomodation in Hotel Royal Nozha,Hammameth. Can you tell anything me about this hotel? hygiene, attention, buffet for breakfast(?), silence, etc...
I would also would to know about transportation from airport: we will be 3 people, 1 man and 2 females, all 30 year old. Are taxis safe?
I will be there from Aug 10th to 15th... maybe too short, but I am sure I will return if I like it
HI can some one please tell me how much to taxis charge from monastir airport to Hammamet? There are 10 of us and we arrive quite late at night- and would need to get to the resort asap as we will have young children with us. Any response will be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
kal
Because of the size of your party and the amount of luggage you have and also because of the time at night you will be arriving I would strongly advise you to book a transfer with your tour operator if possible. Barring that I think you would need three large taxis between you and this could cost 60-80 Dinars for each one. That's if there are sufficient taxis that time at night willing to go to Hammamet. It would take about one and a half hours to get there.
You are not a tourist in Tunisia, but a real traveller
I am just a little bit worried about transportation. Do you know if hotel Royal Nozha is located near facilities like restaurants, shopping areas, etc? I love to have a walk in search of a nice place to dinner. I fear a hotel in an isolated area, depending from taxis at all times...
Expensive, each taxi is small and will cost about £60-70! book a coach it will be much cheaper!
with www.taxitunisie.com or info@taxitunisie.com it's pro

at the gouvernorat de nabeul, this is really a page about YASMINE, where i´ve had mine tunisian vacation. about 7 or 8 miles from Hamammet. as i was told from a tunisian guy the site didn´t existed ten/tweve years ago. at the moment more than 30 hotels surrounds the place with a wonderfull gold sandy beach all along a wonderfull path side by side with it and finishing at a lovely marina where all the fuss takes place at nite.
.
not forgetting the famous MEDINA, present in every and all tunisian cities, where yu can mingle along tunisian people and well, the million tourists strolling and trying to buy souvenirs.
a wonderfull experience .
and all the way, also tunisian and muslim way of life.
a real cultural shock to ocidental point of view
but easy to understand and accept.
