We have stayed in Sheraton Hammamet Hotel. As we have made a last minute booking, we have selected this hotel because it is a chain of Sheraton hotels and instead of taking a risk, we have selected a known brand.
However this hotel has nothing to do with the Sheratons. It is a nice 3 stared hotel, ranked as 4 star due to its name. We have totally surprised with its low quality.
The resort is on the beach of Hammamet Riviera. The bedrooms are satisfactory in size and comfortable, Most of them has a sea view. The breakfast and food is standart. We sometimes had our lunch in the hotel and it is relatively cheap..
In order to travel to Hammaet city center you shall take a taxi which costs around 2 USD in day tariff and 3 at nite.
Unique Quality: The hotel has one Pool approx. 20x20 meter size. No indoor pool. The towels and sunbeds are free of charge. The resort has shuttle services to the nearby golf course in the morning.
Directions: Citrus golf course with 18 holes is 3 km to the resort..
A Great 4* hotel, friendly, helpful staff. A wide variety of tasty food. Beautiful location. Our room was a deluxe beach view room which also had a sitting area. Free massages and a Hammam (equivalent of a Turkish bath) - bliss. £350 all inclusive for a week in April (including flights and transfers etc) ...what a bargain...we couldn't believe our luck...and defo going back there ....a great short hall stop - only 3 hours flight from Manchester
