Hotel Riu Bellevue Park (4*),...

by myriam_c

Hotel Riu Bellevue Park (4*), on the beach, at 2 km from Port El Kantaoui and about 25 km from Monastir airport.

absolutely fantastic!!!

by TripAdvisor Member HOLIDAYqueen15

we have just come back from a weeks holiday at the riu bellevue park, we can honestly say it was the best holiday ever, the hotel was magnificent, the staff were amazing and so friendly and nothing was too much trouble. the food was excellent not a single dodgy stomach all week.

we took our 15 year old son with us who thinks holidays are boring and he wants to go again!!

we went quad biking, my husband and son went deep sea fishing whilst i lay around the pool.

there was so much to do there was never a dull moment.

we would recommend this hotel and we will be going back for sure and i never go to the sae place twice but i want to go back this time.

wow what a place

by TripAdvisor Member mattwales

Mums treat!

by TripAdvisor Member laptaman

Wanted to take mum on a luxury but good value holiday after the recent death of my father. My original choice was the Rui Imperial Marhaba, but a very late change by Thomson left us with the Rui Bellevue Park as an alternative. To be honest we were not very impressed by the brochure picture and information, but the reality was far better. The hotel has been recently refurbished to a high standard, providing both bedrooms and public areas that are comfortable and spacious. It's not a WOW hotel, but does provide a very comfortable stay. Two grumbles were that smokers were given the most comfortable public areas; and that there was a lack of daytime activities when the weather discouraged venturing outdoors. Met some great people there, especially the lovely Emma and her birthday mum Jane, from Surrey, and Mancunians Nicola and her mum Anne and would love to hear from them. That sums up this hotel quite well; it's a place where you can meet interesting people and form some long lasting relationships while having a relaxing break. One word of warning though - it's not best suited to the ambulent disabled due to the many stairs.

Best holiday experience ever!

by TripAdvisor Member DawnMidlands

Stayed at Bellevue Park from 13th to 20th May, myself and two friends.

I had never been on an All Inclusive holiday before and to be honest had heard some real horror stories. But as soon as the coach dropped us off that first night and we walked into the magnificent reception we all just stood there and thought "WOW".

All I can say is that the rest of the holiday didnt disappoint at all. The food was excellent, the waiters couldnt be more helpful and the bar staff remembered exactly what everyone was drinking. There was never a queue at the bar and no limit to the amount of drinks which you could order (which I had heard could be a problem at some all inclusive hotels).

The rooms were spotlessly clean, with clean sheets and towels every day (we even got a rose left on our pillows).

The entertainment team were so hard working and really good fun - we didnt tend to join in the daily activities (preferring to lie around the beautiful pool), but we certainly attended the evening entertainment.

I think that this was probably a good time of year to go as it wasnt overcrowded or too hot (temperature was in high 20's)

I will definitely go again next year....... counting the months!!!!

We have just returned after spending a week at this hotel. From the moment we arrived until we left we had the most fantastic time. The staff from the chambermaid, pool attendant, reception, bars waiters and Entertainment staff could not do any more to
make your holiday special. They looked after you with smiles all
the time. Food great, rooms great. Will be going back again and again and again/

Loved the Hotel!!

by TripAdvisor Member Heather1986

This hotel is fantastic, we cannot fault it in any way. The marble, floors and Chandeliers were breathtaking. The food was incredible, the dining hall included a pasta bar, traditional tunisian food bar, hot food bar, salade bar and a desert bar. Food is served inside and outside. The hotel staff speak english and are very friendly. The entertainment was very enjoyable, a show is put on every night such as live music, karoke, and latino dancing. Our room was wonderful with a balcony and semi sea view. The swimming pool was wonderful and the sea was right in front of the hotel. The hotel also has its own therapy spa. We paid for mthe cheapest package (80 Dinars, which is roughly £30) This package included, a skin peeling, to get off all the dead skin, a sea weed application, a full body massage and hydrobath. We liked it sooooo much we went back and did it again.

Fantastic Holiday

by TripAdvisor Member salc

We spent 2 weeks here (13th May to 27th) and we feel it's probably the most relaxing break we've ever had.

We've been to All Inclusives in Mexico, Dominican Republic and Egypt, all of which we enjoyed, but we've never had the kind of personal service we got at the Bellvue Park.

The hotel has amazing staff. Every meal time there are managers walking round the dining area making sure that everything is OK. They'll stop and ask guests for feedback, suggestions etc. and generally just make sure that you are enjoying your holiday. As has already been said the food is fantastic. We have been used to other hotels having more restaurant choices and worried that we might feel a bit fed up with the food by the end of the fortnight, but the food was amazing! Most of it is freshly cooked in front of you and the choice is great. You'd have to be a really fussy eater to not find something you liked and even if you only like chips you'll find they make the best chips.

You'll really feel like everyone, your room cleaner, the pool guy, the entertainment staff, bar staff, chefs, waiters & senior management, wants your holiday experience in their hotel to be the best ever.

There's a cash machine in the hotel so if you don't want to take lots of travellers cheques with you that's really handy. Taxis are really cheap so we got them if going into the Port or Sousse. We paid 3 dinar to the Port, we walked one day and it takes about 25 mins, and 7 dinar to Sousse. The hotel don't provide bottles of water, except the one you receive on arrival, for your room, but there is a shop in the hotel where you can buy it for 1 dinar. We had no tummy upsets, no bother form mosquitos (one bite on the last day).

You will really love this hotel and the Tunisian people. When we booked the hotel rating with Panorama was 4 *, but for some reason it was reduced to a 3* before we left. We were worried about this, but had no reason to be, it totally deserves a 4* rating.

Fantastic Time!!!!!

by TripAdvisor Member Wildyfing

Just got back on sunday from spending 2wks at The Bellevue Park Hotel, as its been already said the hotel itself is totally amazing, I was gobsmacked on the first impression of the reception/lobby, the marble & deco is just breath taking, you also get a welcome drink when you arrive. When we booked in they'd actually upgraded our room at no extra charge as they thought my 11yr old daughter was abit old for the bed settee & thought we'd be alot more comfortable in a bigger room! our room was spotless & really roomy with a seperate toilet! we over looked the swimming pool & sea & managed to get some great picture's, the maid cleaned our room daily without fail, clean sheets & towels, we also had afridge in our room.
The food was lovely they cover everyones taste, not even the fussiest of eaters could complain, the mangers were all really friendly & always asked how you were & wanted your feed back on the service etc we recieved there, the staff are worth their weight in gold, nothing is any trouble for them, they work from sun up till sun down & always have a ready smile for you , they are so friendly & helpful, 1 of the waiters always had my pot of coffee ready for me on our table when I came down for my breakfast.
We didn't really need to leave the hotel, everything is there for you, it was our first time in Tunisia but it certainly wont be our last,.....
The hotel is fantastic
The people are lovely
& Tunisia is beautiful
Planing on going back aug/sept time & cant wait, made one or two good friends out there & looking forward to seeing them again.

A couple of tips....
I thought the chocolate was very pricey out here so i'd suggest buying abig hoard of it & freezin it before you go, wrap it up in acouple of plastic bags for the filght then stick it in the fridge in your room.
Found it almost impossible to get hold of an iron, so if you have a travel iron take it!. you also dont have akettle in your room.
You dont need to take towels, they provide beach towels & you can request extra ones from reception. The guy who works on the beach is agem, he'll bend over backwards to find you agood place to sunbathe, I actually ended up tippin him after our first week, you'll see what I mean when you meet him.
