Sufism City.

Nefta is a small city and an Oasis located 23 kilometres east of Tozeur, and is the craddle of the Sufism (a mystical branch of Islam) in Tunis. Nefta has more than 25 mosques and over 100 marabouts (a religious teacher and leader of the Qur´am), and attracts pigrims from all over southern Tunis and even Algeria. It´s a nice town to visit and has a beautiful Palm Groove.

"Architecture."

Nefta has many cubed shaped houses with flat roofed built with mud bricks, and is as beautiful as Tozeur but less touristic.

"La Courbeille."

Is a huge ravine that cuts the city in two, and has a wonderful viewpoint.
