Hotel to avoid in Tozeur
We stayed in el mouradi tozeur for 3 nights during April 2008. Although it is a big hotel and a clean one generally speaking, it is currently under construction ( they are building an entire floor) and although they are trying to finish before summer I don't think that this is possible. The noise from the construction is way too loud to put up with. And they don't stop during noon quiet hours. The sound insulation in the rooms can only be described as poor, they are understaffed (nobody is going to help you with your luggage), and few of the staff speak english. Most of the rooms don't have any view, you look out to a wall. The rooms are big but empty, there is no safe box, no hair dryer and no mini bar.
