Belle Vue: Crap vue
I was recommended the Belle Vue so after arriving in Jinja went straight there only to be led up to the 4th floor to be shown a basic single room that was hardly any better than a room at the Fairway but at twice the price.
I didn't check out The Victoria View or Crystal Palace guest houses but I would before I checked into anywhere next time I was in Jinja.

Fairway Guest House: FOUR!!!!!!!!!
Is a big four storey building painted in the colours of multiple ‘Omo’ packets that looks out over the market on one side and the taxi park that serves the Iganga area on the other.
The guest house has its own restaurant on the ground floor selling basic meals and juice and a constant smell of a seemingly endless supply of freshly made chapatti wafts up from the kitchen.
Not the cleanst of places but my self contained room had a net and I had my own bathroom that included a shower, toilet and a tap for the sink but no sink!
Unique Quality: Well at least the staf were friendly enough and the place had a great view over the market.

Kingfisher Safari resort: wonderful location
Perfect,lovely location at Victoria lake.Beautiful garden,friendly personal.Very good food but a little bit long waiting time for it.I advise to rent at least a half hut(bantu).Stunning views at the lake,nice swimming pool and lovely hikes around Njeru area.Camping is also possible.
No TV or internet but very relaxing and beautiful place.Good breakfast.
Unique Quality: Very relaxing place.Pool availabe.Stunning view to the lake and the source of the nile.

Gately on the Nile: Jinja`s best
Perfect,beautiful location.Beautiful view at the lake.Under Australian Leadership.

Nile River Explorers at Bujagali: Camping and Rafting
I stayed here for 4 nights, camping on the comfortable grassy areas. This is a nice place, its also a busy place and offers a booking service for what most people visit for - White Water Rafting. In the Big Bar at night they show the Rafting DVD's - as you can imagine this place is busy and fun each and every night.
Unique Quality:
The Bar has an outside seating area on wooden decking that overlooks Bujagali Falls - its a pretty setting and they sell well priced, good portioned food.
One night we were here there were locals doing some dancing and acrobatic movements out front which was cool!
Outside of the camps compound there are small stals selling wraps which are like Tortillas but there not! Cheap and Tasty Meal!
The most unique thing about Nile River Explorers at Bujagali Falls would be the showers - you go inside through a door, but once inside the shower is actually outside with a spectacular view over the Nile - its pretty amazing, it feels weird at first but once you realise the fact that nobody can see you its fine LOL.....
These showers were freezing cold and powerful which was brilliant, but dont venture down too late - its Mozzie Galore!

Bujagali Falls Nile River Explorers Campsite: Camp Overlooking the Source of the Nile
On the hill overlooking the Mighty White Nile as it leaves Lake Victoria, this campsite offers absolutely everything. It has a bar, can arrange rafting, has strong community links through its affiliation with Softpower and Nile River Explorers & Explorers Backpackers just down the road on Wilson Avenue, its in a great gorgeous location. There is a spot if you wander down the hill where you can take a dip in the waters of the Nile, should you wish, go quad biking, take a walking tour of the villages. There is heaps to do and see.
Of most interest out of all the facilities though, and this may sound odd, was the really cool shower blocks. Over looking the waters of the White Nile, they have a front door as you walk in, but are completely open at the back. Don't worry, the tree's allow you feel secluded. It is really strange yet cool to stand in an open aired shower block washing away the days grime after rafting and just stare out at the view. No shower experience can beat that!
