Hotel Canan: Decent Hotel
Nice clean place is the Canan. I paid 20,000 UGX for a nonself contained Double. It was quite a bit bigger than the single for 18,000 UGX . A single self contained was 25,000 UGX

Agip Hotel: Agip Hotel
Never actually stayed here but if anyone has read "The Last King of Scotland" by Giled Foden you may remember this place form his book.
I think it also gets a mention in Museveni's book "Sowing the Mustrad Seed" will have to check that out.
