Good business accommodation in Lusaka
This was a good hotel, and one I will easily recommend because of its friendliness and good service. Others have also told me they prefer this to Holiday Inn or the Intercontinental (nearby, both of them) due to the service and friendly atmosphere.
The room was impeccable and despite lots of confusion with delayed flights, Pamodzi was quick to organise a new room in the hotel and putting extra efforts into taking care of other stranded passengers, too. Outdoor swimmingpool, gym, massage etc.
Not noisy, except if you have back-yeard facing roome and open your window to the air con machinery on the ground.
Small but OK business facilities. Internet access slightly on the expensive side.
Slow check-out service at the cashier.
2 restaurants and a bar (see other tips) to keep you going for a while.
Events, music on Fridays and Saturdays.
I jewelry store, and a souvenir store and stationary store, none of the latter two too well stocked.
Low-key atmosphere compare favourably to snobbishness of Intercontinental.
But lacks the airlines offices and some of the other business services of Intercon and Holiday inn.
