Great backpacker's in Avondale Harare
I lived at the cute lodge for about 6 months. Located on a hill in the nice suburb of Avondale, the lodge is in a good location. A 5 minute walk away are grocery stores, a movie theater, restaurants, cafes, taxi stand, shopping areas, craft stands, etc.
Small World Lodge has a small pool, several different kinds of accomodation - private, family, ensuite, twins and dorm rooms. A lounge and bar offer entertainment and some noise at night.
Staff are kind, helpful, and trustworthy. We definitely enjoyed our stay. The lodge is on a main road, but you wouldn't know it because of the walls and fencing surrounding the property. It's very easy to get from here into the center of town.
