Brunei Hotel

Nothing to say too much about the hotel but the location because it's walking distance to the malls & stores. The room smells old but the buffet breakfast is quiet good and also the service. Most of the employees are Filipinos which is the primary reason why we enjoyed our stay. We get to hear their stories and connect with them. It's near Jolibbee too which is an additional point for me because I have vowed not to miss going to any country that has a Jolibbee store. Proud to be a Filipino! hi hi hi
It's alright for budgetor

The place is ok for some one who on budget. It's 24hrs open. They have a very large room. I was staying with my friend Natra and still seem like large enough for a playground.
This on basically have 2 different type of room which they have room with bathroom or with share bathroom. They got hot shower as well although the country isnt that cool. Right in the centre of BSB. 3 min walking from the central bus station, near Kinaggeh river and right infront of Brunei Hotel.
Living it up at the Hotel.... Brunei

Don't stay at the Brunei Hotel, which Royal Brunei airlines put us up at on the return trip.
I've stayed in a lot of different types of accommodation, and I'm not a 5 star hotel goer. But this place was falling apart and remember if you get breakfast included, it's not really a big bonus. The American breakfast was 2 slices of toast.
If you do have to stay there, don't lock your door when you leave because the key won't open it from the outside, and you'll have to ask hotel staff to let you back in. Centrally located
Very grand Brunei Hotel

The hotel itself is magnificent, with all the facilities you can imagine. You have to travel to some of them via a golf cart due to the distance involved. There is so much in the hotel, if you're not careful you'll never get into the city!
The service staff are a bit undermanned and seem stressed and some lack polish.
For instance, I sat at an incomplete table (lacking silverware) for over 10 minutes. Perhaps I'm being too picky, but for the price of the rooms, I expect quite high service.
That being said, many of the staff were exceptional and quite pro-active. Incredible beach views and the executive suite was outstanding!
brunei hotel (average)
by Chellenz about the Bruneu Hotel
we stayed here for one night it was a free nights accomodation with our flights and we thought it was nice on arrival rooms were okay. good location, service was average (went down and asked for a new pillow at about 11.30pm (when we finally got to bed) as mine was rock hard but due to the people that service rooms having gone home it was to hard had no keys for the room that has the extra blankets etc.. In the end I asked him to get one from a vacant room and one was dropped off about 20 mins later I was extremely appreciative. no amazing facilities just beds and shower small t.v in our room.
I wouldn't choose to stay here unless it was free again and this time I would check my pillow on check in! had a lovely entrance and waiting area. great location.

Jerudong Park
by Perucha
Hi all,
Before going to Manila, I'll have a night to spend in BSB, arriving at 6 PM and stay in Brunei Hotel (it's a package). I'd like to go to Jerundong Park cuz I love jet coaster! :)
My question is: how is the cheapest way to go to Jerudong Park from Brunei Hotel and vice versa at that hour? How much is it?
Thank y'all!

hi, cheapest way is by purple bus b$1 one-way, problem is getting back to hotel, unless you are prepared to hitch a ride. jp rides is b$15 for adults, b$5 for kids. jet coasters aka pusing lagi is nasty - up to 10g, water log is fine for everybody. ask brunei hotel to arrange transport pick-up. likely b$10 0ne-way, cheaper in group. don't miss the singing n dancing water fountains. enjoy!
