A good location and an enjoyable stay
If I went back to BSB this is where I would stay again. The hotel was clean and comfortable.
The location was very good because it was within walking distance of many of the sights of BSB. It was close to an outdoor food court, St Andrew's Cathedral and within easy walking distance of the Royal Regalia Museum, the mosque, the Chinese temple, the market, the bus station.
We were really impressed by the food at the Terrace Hotel which was really excellent and delicious. We ate by the pool.
The pool was set in a colourful garden. As well as eating dinner next to it, we also had our included breakfast here too.
Staff at the hotel were friendly and helpful.

The lady shows her age
I called from KL airport and enquired about a room, the very friendly lady advised that a room is available facing the park for 60 bnd which sounded a bargain. arriving late at night on air asia even the driver was surprised at the price, he thought it would be minimum 70 bnd and mind you, all taxes included. there was no breakfast but then again do you really need to eat hotel breakfast?
going into an upstairs room, after encountering the very pleasant chinese lady, the view of the park and the night market across. the room shows its age and strangely looked familiar. the same sagginess and mustiness of older hotels. But i was very pleased to know that this is the same as the only hotel at that time apart from Sheraton, in the protectorate days, called Angs Hotel. Obviously Mr Ang has kept his date with his maker and now this is a business hotel for visiting businessmen from philippines and hongkong. wifi internet is available in the rooms
