Mothers hotel: Hotel con Geko Hotel with Geko

El hotel no esta mal aunque no esta en el Lonely Planet
Como esta en el campo tiene algun animalillo asi que cuando entramos nos encontramos un saltamontes de casi una cuarta ,sin exagerar, y por la noche Mercedes se llevo mas de un "sobresalto" porque teniamos dentro un keko que es una especie de salamandra que se come los insectos pero que de vez en cuando hace un ruido grande. Casi nos tenemos que cambiar de habitacion de madrugada
Los kekos son inofensivos

The hotel is nice though is not included in the Lonely Planet
As it was in the field it has some litle animals so when we went in we found a grass hopper
of nearly 3 inches and during the night Mercedes had more than one jump because we had inside a Keko , that si a kind of salamander that eats insectsbut frm time to time it makes a big noise
We nearly change of rooms in the down
The Kekos are harmless

Hotel Emperor: Friendliest guy in the world

We didn't stay there but he didn't care.
He walked with me the whole city through to find me a bus to Rangoon. No luck, no more buses that day. He helped me find typical rice bowls and had all the time in the world for me.

He is known by every driver and knows everybody. He sits next to the street, whistles all his friends-driver to find someone who would drive us to Yangoon.

In the end, de succeeded and didn't want anything for his effort

Bago, Myananda: Bago's best buy

I strolled around Bago and compared:
The Emperor (US 4$ for a very small, dark room with smelly toilet)
San Francisco (US 6$ for a big room with a small terrace)
and chose for
Myananda (US 7$ for a room on the 1st floor with a very clean bathroom with towels. We had a fridge in the room and the guys at the reception were very friendly.
