Friendship Hotel: The better of the 2 possible hotels
From US $ 7 with shared bathroom and US $ 20 with bathroom
Excellent breakfast, free transport and lunch packet if you leave by boat, good information

Friendship Hotel: Chinese Style Hotel
The best of what is available in Bhamo. Until recently not much was available and this is a fairly new hotel. Built to the specifications of the chinese visitors, it is pleasant enough with cold air conditioning, pleasant staff. Because of the slow connections, there is no internet available and even the hotels emails are retrieved in Mandalay!
It is the best hotel in Bhamo. Very convenient to everything, a nice chinese restaurant next door. It is not that expensive and the staff is friendly.
