Ngwe Moe Hotel, MawlamyineThe Ngwe Moe hotel is a relatively new hotel built in 2002 and stands on the banks of the Thanlwin river on Strand Rd in the Myangone quarter of Mawlmayine. The carpetted rooms are clean and are equipped with satellite TV, a bar fridge, attached bathrooms with hot and cold showers and IDD telephone.

The hotel has a very nice dining room serving Myanmar and Chinese cuisine and you can even request a meal of your choice if it's not on the menu. During the dry months, tables are setup beside the street on the footpath where you can have your meal whilst watching the sunset across the Thanlwin River.
