We were our last two days in Ngapali beach, and there we decided to stay in Ngapali beach hotel it is more expensive hotel them those we stayed before. But it was worth to stay there,
our bungalow separate from sea some 50-70 meters of white sand beach, and line of palm's treas. Inside, bungalow was very spacious and good furniture, there is good restaurant, and near hotel where several restaurants with good sea food choice.

Do you like peace and tranquility ? Do you prefer to visit places far from the usual crowds? Since many of us live in cities with the stress of over-population, we need breaks of relaxation , going closer to nature.
Ngapali is situated about 7 km away from Thandwe (Sandoway), one of the ancient Rakhine (formerly Arakan) towns and is said to have been named after the Naples of Italy by a homesick Italian.(it is funny, that nowadays some of the modern hotels in Ngapail-area are run by Italians ore have at least Italian chefs) Ngapali-Beach is famous for its natural and unspotted beauty and stretches about 3 km with soft white sand fringed by coconut palms. It serves as the best ground for sunbathing and recreation such as beach strolling, cycling and so on. Unlike today's beaches of Asia, it is free of noisy beachside bars, crowded people and hawkers persuading you to buy their things. There are only natural scenic beauty of the blue sea, white sand and the lovely sun. The sea is cobalt blue, without any dangerous marine animals and clean.

Most of the hotels will be closed. As far as I know, Lin Tha Oo and Royal Beach Motel will be opened.
Please note there will be no direct flight from Bagan to Ngapali. You have to fly from Yangon only.

hi,
do you know if there are any budget hotels ? those hotels you named sound very expensive.
I'd also prefer to get from Bagan to Ngapali Beach by bus. is it possible?
And what do you think about Ngwe Saung as alternativ ?

Sorry. Lin tha oo known as the cheapest one.
You can not go directly by bus from Bagan to Ngapali. Take the bus from Bagan to Pyay. Then Pyay to Thandwe again.
I would like to recommend to go to Chaung Tha. Most of the hotels at Ngwe Saung are closed. But some hotels open at Chaung Tha. Grand, Chaung Tha Oo, Shwe Hin Tha, all these are budget hotels at Chaung Tha.
You can go either by bus or by taxi from Yangon to Chaung Tha.

The last time we went there was only one road available since a bridge on the normal route was damaged....
