Inle,Inle ,Inle lake ,if I wrote some line that is complelely can not show what is Inle lake is just go there and get it there. Ummmm,
I saw happiness of my guests with fully smile and that come to me and feel like a culture ambassador of Burma,
all of the world have nature and their own scenes and lovely culture,There also one of place in the world,
but need to teach about how to keep natural things cause of there people get want more rich and more rich and they were farmers and use chemical for their plantation, and that spread on the water and environment get ruin.
Local Home
by herzog63
Some of the bigger homes had a couple buildings and seemed a little more insulated. As it can get quite cool in the evenings. I was there in March which is the HOT season and it was pretty cool in the evening so probably in Nov-Dec it could be almost cold as Inle lake is at 875 meters above sea level.

Taking a shower at home
by herzog63
I saw that most people were bathing on the dock right near their house. All of the people that were adults would wear a Longyi which is the local Sarong as they would be bathing publicly. No body seemed upset or embarrassed that we were riding along as they were bathing. I wanted to show the style of bathing while being discreet so this lady has her face covered so I chose this picture for the bathing tip so if she ever saw this on the internet she wouldn't know it was her.
Getting to Pindaya caves
by hydronetta
I can't recommend using public transport from Heho airport or Aungban or Kalaw cities to get to Pindaya. As mentioned in my LP guidebook it might be tiring and difficult to find good connections. I had prearranged the trip through my travel agency by private car and I can tell you even that takes long as the road is in a bad condition. For 50km it takes about 2 hours and from Inle lake around 3hrs!!
The scenery is nice and you have some views of local rural life. As soon as you approach the Pindaya town, you have a lovely ride around the lake and nice views of the surrounding hills housing the caves.
