Asia Hotel.: Nice and cheap with free wifi.

Asia hotel is a good budget choice if tou are staying in Kampong Chhnanag.
I was paying 8 dollars for a room with fan when i was there and it was a good room with a comfy bed and bathroom with hot water and a working fan.
That is pretty good for cambodian backwaters i tell you.
There is free wifi all over the hotel and they sell drinks at the reception 24 hours a day if you need that.
It looked to me as if they were upgrading the hotel while i was there, so the place might be a little fancier and more expensive in the future.

Very central and free wifi for a resonable price.

Sovannphum Hotel: Good value!

Excellent value at USD 8 per night for a room with fan (not a/c – this was mostly fine although there were some too-hot-and-sweaty moments during the mid-day). The room was simple but clean and decently kitted out and, being at the front of the hotel, had massive windows that let in loads of light. Bed could have been a bit more comfortable but for that price I'm not complaining! Attached restaurant has decent food, awesome coconut smoothie and resident bats.
