Oudom Sambath Hotel: Excellent value
Excellent Hotel at the riverside. Large rooms, large bathrooms with hot water, TV, fridge and aircon. Double rooms with riverview for 15$. Colonial interieur and nice roof terrace, restaurant downstairs.
Friendly staff and also provides minibus service to Phnom Penh (14$/2 seats, 4 hours).

Santepheap Hotel: It feels like in a prison...
Kratie (or Kracheh) is famous because of the Irriwaddy Dolphins that you can visit near this town. The small town center has a few hotels. We stayed at the Santepheap Hotel near the riverside. This was a bad hotel. It felt like being in a prison, the bathroom was a bit dirty, and the staff wasn't that friendly. They said the hotel now can offer a 'good' breakfast, but that wasn't true either... it was not good, but okay, it was just for one night... at least we had some English tv channels... and we were close to the town centre!
