Flight & Hotel at Siem Reap

Most tourists visiting the various Angkor monuments will stay at the nearby town of Siem Reap (please see my VT Phumi Siem Reab page). As for me, I stayed at the Sokha Angkor Resort (more information at my VT Phumi Siem Reab page), which is a very good 5-star hotel with great room, great food and very friendly staff. It's location is also very central in Siem Reap, at the junction of National Road 6 (main road to Phnom Peah) and Sivutha Blvd.

As for flights to Siem Reap, they will land at the Siem Reap International Airport (more information at my VT Phumi Siem Reab page), which is a new and small airport located just a few kilometres from Siem Reap and the Angkor monuments, so it is very convenient. The only problem is that there are not many flights to Siem Reap, so you need to plan and book your tickets in advance.
