Ei8ht Rooms Guesthouse

Ei8ht Rooms is a charming guesthouse right in the heart of Siem Reap town.
Really affordable and the rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.
The guesthouse is also a short 5 mins walk to the Old Market and Pub Street area, which makes walking around really easy.

Unique Quality: Wonderful and really friendly staff. Always ready to help and most can speak pretty good english.
The rooftop terrace also offers great views of Siem Reap town and great for after dinner drinks and to watch the sun set.

Directions: Centre of Siem Reap town, near the Old Market and Pub Street area.

The Ei8ht Rooms Guesthouse was my second choice in Siem Reap. I ended up picking the Mandalay Inn because it was $16/night vs. $24/night for Ei8ht Rooms. I did go by Ei8ht Rooms to check it out though. It gets great reviews on TripAdvisor and I can see why. The staff were very friendly and showed me around even though I was not staying there. The location is on a quiet street by the back entrance to Artisans D'Angkor in the south part of Siem Reap about two blocks from Psar Chaa (Old Market) and very close to the Angkor Night Bazaar. There is no hotel restaurant but the rooms are larger and nicer than those at the Mandalay Inn. The lobby had two computers with free internet access.

Unique Quality: There is a quiet rooftop garden veranda.
