Upmarket hotel
There are so many luxury hotels mostly along the main route HWY 6 and all seem quite a distance from the city centre. However this hotel is in the main street we decided to treat ourselves at the end of our trip. We found the rooms advertised for $US70 including buffet breakfast for 2 on Wotif.com there was a problem with their internet and we werent able to book online so we asked if they would give us the same rate and they agreed. Standard style hotel rooms we had a room overlooking the pool which is beautiful. Breakfast was the usual affair with an egg chef both western and asian. They have some good set menu specials in the restaurants if you dont want to go out. They also have a good special if you just want to use their pool $US15pp to swim all day includes towel, lunch from the menu, soft drink or beer plus 1 hour massage. Given they charge $US8 to use the pool, the massage is $US10 and lunch club sanwhich and coke was $US6 good value. Great pool area, the staff are very helpful when it comes to moving beds and unbrellas for shade. Right on the main street close to the new shopping centre easy walk to everything.
