Excellent hotel

Phnom Penh Hotel is located about 20 minutes from the airport – and within walking distance to the Wat Phnom temple and the Tonlé Sap River.

With more than 400 rooms it is a rather huge hotel (at least in my opinion) and the hotel complex contains a small casino, a couple of bars, souvenirs shops, a health centre, several restaurants (Japanese, Chinese, Thai, French…), a business centre and a really nice pool area. I visited the buffet restaurant one evening, and it was great: Fair price and the buffet had many selections and options.

The room was spacey with a very nice bathroom and was equipped with mini-bar, air-condition, safe, internet, cable TV (50 channels) and all other modern devices…

Breakfast was included in the price and was excellent. It offered a wide selection of items - both Asian and Western dishes.

Friendly staff and I think this is an excellent hotel, but it could be anywhere in the World. Maybe more a business hotel than a tourist hotel and it is not here you see the ‘real’ Cambodia…
