If you are looking for a basic but clean hotel in Phnom Penh, the Princess Hotel is fine. The rooms are clean and tidy, there is a small restaurant downstairs and you can rent the internet very cheaply. Staff are friendly.
Unique Quality: Good value, friendly staff.
Directions: Close to intersection of Monivong Blvd and Sihanouk Blvd. Near U.S Embassy. See map on photo link for location.
One night Nov 2005.
Very nice sheets and comfortable bed. Room feels brand new w modern furniture, cranking AC, lots of TV channels, fridge. Easy walk to Central market, dept store. 5 min by cab to river front. English speaking staff.
Not sure of price as my stay was part of a package.
The best thing about this hotel is the service! The staff is very helpful and fluent in english. Rooms are nicely decorated and air conditioned. Also, the location is perfect for exploring the city.
Directions: approximately 20 miles from the airport
Anyone who's stayed at Princess Hotel, Phnom Penh has their telephone number? Or contact email? I've got a booking wit them for Oct 2007 (through goHoliday), so i'd like to confirm the booking and arrange other stuff like airport pick-up, etc. Thanx
Of course, no problem. Call Mr. Bun Pao [bunpaosmith@yahoo.com]...yes it will cost you but he's reliable and honest and bright and knows the area.
