In PingYao, you'd better stay in family hotel that offers traditional 'kang', a kind of bed, under which there is fire burning to keep the bed warm. caution: the boss will arrange boys and girls to sleep on one 'kang' as locals do. so don't forget to ask for seperate rooms if you are nothing more than travel gangs.
