I was put up in this 3 star hotel near Beitaipingzhuang (center north between 3rd and 4th ring roads) as part of a contest I was in in Beijing. Not much to look at from the outside, but rooms were very clean with all new amenities and the service was very good.
Unique Quality: Very environmentally friendly....they don't give you any one-time-use items unless you ask for them and if you don't ask them to change the towels they don't...sheets are the same.
Super cheap internet (3 yuan/hr or 35cents US) that you can get in your room...they provide the cable.
I also noticed that at the end of my hall there was a specially designated handicapped room with a wider door....something not always seen in cheaper hotels in China.
