One of the many "VILLAGES" along the banks of the Yangtze. In China, the population of a village would be around 500,000 and opposed to 500 in Australia!If you look closer, you see a distinct band of grey on the buildings closer to the river. The facade (materials) of these abandoned buildings have been stripped off to make way for the flooding.
The newer band of buildings above the old ones will be lying by the banks in 5 years!
