"Brief"

I had taken my university here during 2003-2007. I knew Chongqing as a Mountainous City, Riverside City, Flaming City, Foggy City...Among those respectable poets, the most well-known ones Li Bai, Du Fu had written many poems about this city. It is also the right place that King Liu Bei in the Three Kingdoms Period (220 to 280, AD) entrusted his little son to Zhuge Liang, a liege vassal of him, when he was going to die. Nowadays elites of human resource administration always make research on the way how Liu Bei did to manage those great minds like Zhuge Liang and build his kingdom.

"Feature"

1. Ma and La Huo Guo (Spicy Hot Pot);
2. Bang Bang (people who carries goods for customers on the shoulder with a pole, and most of them from rural areas hanging about in this city and they make their living by this hard work);

"Three Gorges Museum"

The Three Gorges Museum situates opposite the Chongqing People's Hall. It is a public undertaking for the long-term preservation, history education and scientific research in respect of cultural relics and the natural environment of Chongqing and the Three Gorges area. The exterior of the museum has cambered walls and vitreous dome, representing the historical culture of Three Gorges and their origins. In addition, there are large-scale bas-reliefs, bronze sculptures and the Ecological Corridor that is one kilometer in length (about 1,094 yards).

The museum is a part of the huge project of the Three Gorges Dam, where there are 1087 relic sites will be submerged in water. China's 68 scientific institutions have been excavating and researching the sites in the Three Gorges area for ten years. They have successfully completed 338 archeological projects and made a lot of discoveries. All the invaluable relics are carefully moved to the exhibition halls in the Three Gorges Museum. The staffs in the museum compiled and categorized these archeological discoveries, and then made volumes of catalogue for the convenience of scientific research and easy access to the general public.
