Anyone know if there is a street or market in Chongqing that sells tons of toys for kids? I know Guangzhou has an area like this, but I heard that Chongqing makes a lot of toys and ship them to Guangzhou for export. Husband is a toy fanatic so it would be fun to go toy hunting.

i' ve no ideal about any toy wholesaler in chongqing, but i know there is one big wholesale market in chengdu where about 4 hours highway from chongqing. the market is marked the largest wholesale market in SW china. of course u can find tons of toys in cheap price there. the name of the market is "HeHuaChi". there r another new market, but i think this one is more than u needed...............;p

It may not be like you have seen in Hongkong, Tokyo, New York or such cities. However, it's very attractive to me, especially when you stand on the top of hill in Pi-ba Park or E-ling Park, watching colorful lights spreading out here and there, reflecting in the river, shining on line along the bridge...
There are actually two cable car rides in Chongqing that cross both rivers - the Jialing and the Yangzi. I took the Yangzi River Cable Car as I wanted to see the river from high up but what you also see are the rather unpleasant apartment blocks which are just horrid. This particular crossing was the first in the city and has a length of 1166 meters.
