Opposite the old mosque: Opposite the old mosque
Opposite the old mosque has a nice hotel RMB138, all hotel-nonsenses included. Quite beautiful, nice bathroom, big. Convenience for eat and walk around at nite. A huge Karaoke attached to this hotel, beautiful girls appeared at night starring at male tourists, me included, big breasts. Inside my room, a little signage in blue "Do not bring prostitute into the room, do not gamble"

GP Hotel (Hao3 Di4 Fang1 Shang1 Wu4 Jiu3 Dian4): Excellent but Bizarre
The name GP stands for "Good Place", reflected in the Chinese name of "Hao3 Di4 Fang1". It is indeed a good place to stay at!
Price range around 138-198 RMB, mine was 158 RMB.
It's walking distance to Guandi Temple, the Puppet Museum and Qingjing Mosque. Very convenient for sightseeing and getting around. There's a bus stop on Tumen Jie right in front of the hotel, IIRC there's a bus to Kaiyuan Temple but I don't remember which number it was.
A huge bed -- 2 double beds pushed together to make 1.
Clear glass walls for the shower room -- good thing I was staying alone!
Toilet was in a separate cubicle from the shower room, had normal walls, but frosted glass door with no lock.
No windows and everything is sparkling clean.
Extremely comfortable if you don't mind it being bizarre... or if you're a couple. ;)
