"Amoy=Xiamen"
Xiamen is planted smack in the mouth of the Nine Dragon River,so in ancient times it was called "lower gate to the sea".People call it Amoy here.So Amoy=Xiamen.And I like Amoy more than Xiamen.Actually,Amoy is just an island of about 130sq.km.floating a mile or so off Fujian's serpentine coastline,directly across from Taiwan.So great that Amoy is my home town.I like people,food,music,climate and everything here.Come and feel it!
