Bell Tower Hotel, Xian: Central Xian

Very pleasant hotel right in the centre of the city. Obviously caters for a lot of tour parties and has high turn over of guests. Decor pleasant staff friendly good value mid range hotel. The location is the real selling point it is dead centre of the city. 10 mins from Muslim quarter and 10 mins from the city wall which are a delight to walk on

Unique Quality: Has some sort of health spa offering strange treatments including, amongst others, colonic irrigation. I have to say I wasn't tempted. I did have a meal in the restaurant and was very pleased. I had walked all over Xian and was tired and couldn't face haggling over the price of my dinner so plumped for the safety of my hotel. It was one of the best meals I ate in China and I didn't feel ripped off when the bill came
