Traveling around China
"Shangahai"
I liked the modern architecture in Shangai. The city is a fairly large one.
"Bund"
Well the Bund is the old part of town that had alot of European influence at one time. This is a view of the financial district from the Bund.
"The New Shanghai"
Well they are building everywhere everyday and many of the buildings are influenced by or designed using Feng Shui. I guess most people like the juxstaposition of the old with the new.
"The Great Wall"
The Great wall at Juyongguan is the closest to Beijing so we went there it is also a little tough to climb and steep.
"Great Wall at Juyongguan"
Walking down can be difficult since the steps are different sizes and there isn't railing everywhere here nor are there any cable cars.
"The Terra Cotta Warriors in Xian"
This was very impressive. The emperor Qin Shi Huang had them built around 2200 years ago to protect him in the afterlife he also started building the Great Wall.
"The Venice of China"
Suzhou is also very interesting as well. There is still alot of history here.
"The Temple of Heaven"
Seeing the eldery people outside of the Temple exercizing and playing music and singing and playing games was awesome.
