Life in Donggaun
I am considering a week trip to Donggaun.
I would like some feed back regarding food.
I have had serveal reoports that they eat everything out there, from cats to sparrows. If you want western food it is very expensive! just how expensive?
there are no bars, just ktv, which i think is a karaoke night!
Restaurants shut at 8pm!
Do hotels have bars?

Yeah, you perhaps can even eat a monkey filled with roaches and it would taste good - if you have a lot of money to burn. Otherwise if you are on a budget and eat like everyone, no monkey, no roaches, no cats, no sparrows. If in doubt, you can always try a West Chinese/East Turkestani halal (moslem) food. There are even Jewish (kosher) places. The moslem places are very common. There is no "halal" (or "kosher") sparrow / cat / roach / monkey.
I am sure, finding a halal or kosher restaurant is much easier than a restaurant serving snakes with crickets.
