 This hotel is a great stay both for business and for Pleasure. It is both a family hotel and a business hotel. On weekdays.. you would see all businessmen ( mostly Westerners ) and then on weekends... you will see families ( Many from HK ) but now beginning to see Local Chinese heading there on weekends. The hotel deserves a "Grand Hyatt " status but right now it is only a "Regency "and so the cost is relatively low ( compared to HK ).

The facilities is Super ! There is a famtastic outdoor free form pool with slides and also a fun kiddy pool with fun stuff in to keep the kiddos happy. There is also a temp regulated indoor pool where there is whirlpools, hot tubs etc... there is also steam rooms and sauna in the indoor pools. Of course there is a International standard SPA... ( International price ). This is a legit SPA. ( not the sleezy ones ). Run by Hyatt. Be assured that it is good for your wife/GF to go. ( or a couple SPA). The food is very good. The best Chinese ( Cantonese ) food and Tim Sum in Dongguan. The Copper grill is also the BEST in Dongguan with their imported Meat from Australia and you could actually see the fresh meat in the meat locker which is in the restuarant. The setting in the Copper grill is very good and ambience just nice with flame grills and great food. A bit pricy for Dongguan .. but what the heck... it would cost you a bomb if you eat the same in HK. Ah... the rooms.... Very modern like all Hyatt.... classy with the rooms overlooking the lake ( oh I did not mention that the hotel is overlooking a beautiful lake, like the Golden Chicken lake in SuZhou.. but smaller ) with a bathtub on the balcony... it is perfect for a romantic dip. Careful which room you are in... for people might see you from the 7th floor lounge in the night where the 2 way glass lets outside see in. :)
