Where is the best place to shop for factory priced clothes and accessories? where can I buy embroiderd art work? Is it very cold there? What type of clothes should I wear?

Cold but not as cold as a couple of weeks ago. I'm wearing my thermals, two pairs of socks, but there's no heating in my apartment. (Probably not in any hotel either).
A good place to look for cheap clothes is Up-and-Down Street (xiashang 9 lu) which runs between metro changzhou lu (line 1). Turn right out of the station, and down the hill, then left at the traffic lights. Later on that road becomes pedestrian. I hope you like crowds!

Xiujuan took me out to dine at her university cafeteria where they serve very cheap yet very tasty traditional Cantonese dim sum...! Someone brings a cart to the table with various dishes to choose from and then they cook it and bring it to you... I wasn't too excited about the chicken feet, but there were some great dumplings... And of course, we can't forget the sticky rice!

Guangzhou is...I just walk and stop and walk and stop and take photos. A few things caught my attentions were the Huaisheng mosque, Abu Waqqas tomb, Zhao Mo mausoleum, Beijing Lu, Qingping market, Shamien, Sanyuanli back street, Shangxiajiu shopping.... oh and the football commentator here speaks Cantonese, Thierry Henry became Ah-Hunk-Lay....and Lor-See-Kay passed the ball to Fa-bei-ka-see...and he shoot...
