You can the airport bus No.1,and get off at the terminal. Then walk about 80m to the Guangzhou railway station. You can take a train to Shenzhen, which takes you only about an hour. You may have to pay RMB16 for the bus and about RMB 70~80 for the train to Shenzhen. This is supposed to be the most convenient way, but these days due to the construction of new lines and the advent of the grave-sweeping day, it is becoming a little tough to get the train ticket. The newspaper here says, the train tickets to Shenzhen are sold out early.

So what do u suggest!! i mean there is a good chance that i will not find the train?? is there any other way?? HIRE a car from gaungzhou to shenzhen??? how much wud that cost??

Near the train station is the GZ Province Coach station. I suggest that you first try the railway station, because the trip would be much more comfortable and time-saving. If the tickets are sold out you may take a coach there. Hiring a car is too expensive.!! By the way, which part of shenzhen are you going to? The Shenzhen train station is in Luohu District, but the coaches reach different districts in Shenzhen. You'd better make sure which district you are going to so that you can choose the right coach.

You're welcome. I'm glad to help.
Do make it clear where you are staying in Shenzhen. If you are going to Longgang, you'd better take the bus. Longgang is too far away from Luohu District, where the train station is located.
You can also send me email when you have got the address of your hotel.

Anyway, I'll keep checking this thread.

Xiangjiang Safari Park

by aussie_expat

Xiangjiang Safari Park is the leading zoo in China. It has over 20,000 animals from over 450 species including Pandas, koalas, polar bears, tigers, orangutans, chimpanzese, and a wide collection of African animals.

It is the first 5A tourist attraction located in Guangzhou. The park is divided into 2 main sections, the "safari on foot section" where guests walk around a well designed zoo and the "safari on wheels section" where guests board 'road trains' and are taken through an open range section where animals are free to roam. By far the most impressive area in the "safari on wheels section" is the African Plainlands, where you will find giraffe, zebra, wilderbeast, springbok, and other animals move around the road train.

Animal interaction is also available with the chance to feed camels, giraffe, elephants, and baby tigers. They also have over 100 white-tigers, representing 50% of the white tigers in captivity. They have a very impressive "China Treasures Zone" with pandas, rare golden monkeys and red (lessor) pandas, and an "Australian Zone" with koalas (the only koala in capitivity in mainland China), kangaroos, wallabies and emus.

Located 35mins from Guangzhou City, it is a facsinating and educational place to visit.
