Ladies, looking for leather bags in GZ? You'll go crazy if you go to Jie Fang Bei Rd, there's a stretch of 4 to 5 shopping malls selling ALL kinds of bags, mainly leather bags.

The mall that I would recommend, along this road is World Leather City (Bai Yun Shi Jie Pi Ju Cheng). The shops there are most organised, spacious and is air-conditioned. The shops here even have stickers on their shop front, stating if they accept retail customers or just attend to wholesale customers. Hence, you can happily go into those shops that welcome retail customers and not worry about not buying in bulk.

The mall is super big and there are really a great variety of ladies bags offered there. There are also some shops selling male's briefcase, working bags, luggages, male's clothes.

My friend can shop at that mall, just one mall, for 5 hours.

Sorry, no photo, did not remember to bring along the camers that day. :P Leather bags The design and quality of bags sold there varies, but good ones can still be cheaper than those you can get from outside, those major shopping malls, say in Tien He district.

Church of Our Lady of Lourdes

This lovely little church is located on Shamian Island in the former French part of the island. The Roman Catholic church was built in 1892 and is a popular place to see married Chinese couples having their pictures taken.

The thing I remember best of Guangzhou is the market, you really see the most amazing things there.

Guangzhou, neighboring Hong Kong and Macao, is the capital of Guangdong Province, and the largest city in South China as well. The city has eight districts and four counties, with a population of 6,290,000 people. Guangzhou has been listed in China's 24 historic and cultural cities. It has long been one of China's ports of foreign trade and friendly exchanges. The past decade has seen great economic achievements in the city thanks to the policy of reform and opening to the outside world which was first carried out in Guangdong. Now the city has become a well-known industrial city.
