You have to have extra bag because GZ is a paradise for shopping and youi can find easily lot fake things but in acceptable qualities and off course cheap price........ Sport or casual shoes are recomended and clothes will according to weather tips.......... May be some basic medicine can be carry with you....... wel equiped with photo but that must not be very profesional and take the time to make some snaps............... Sun glasses, sun hat, and small bag which carry the important thing like passport, some tips etc etc.............

The bbq's dont usually start till about 9pm and go till about 2-4am. Usually there is quite a few bbq's in one area, they all have tables and little chairs. The bbq i go to everynight i see rats running beside my feet sometimes but they are all not like that. You can take the food to go at all these places. Also you can eat almost anything there, bread, all types of meat, vegetebles chicken feet, oyesters, birds, anything you name they will get it for ya. It is very cheap to eat here, most things cost 1rmb, some 2 and some are 3. If you dont like spicy food then just ask them for half or none at all because if you dont say anything it will be super spicy. For 2 american dollars you will be stuffed. enjoy! Beef, beans, corn, oyesters.

The Sacred Heart Church was built on a site that was originally occupied by the office of the Guangdong/Guangxi Provinces governor during the Qing Dynasty until it was completely destroyed by the French army sometime around the end of the Second Opium War... After that, the area was "leased" to the French and construction of the church followed shortly thereafter...
